Arnie Ranta has been involved in the sport of dirt late model racing for over five decades. He was an avid spectator for many years and has been a sponsor, team owner, race track sponsor, race track promoter and friend of racing for the last fifteen years. He owned and operated a snowmobile business in St. Paul, MN and has been a snowmobile enthusiast and racing supporter for over fifty years. He talks fondly of these two great sports and enjoys the involvement, camaraderie and excitement they bring to the forefront.
Arnie’s relationship with Brent has been strong for over a decade. The two have talked several times about teaming up. That turned into a reality in the spring of 2016. Arnie’s ownership pushed Brent back into open late model racing for the first time in over 15 years. Arnie’s energetic enthusiasm and passion to win is shared with the Brent Larson Motorsports team on a weekly basis at the shop. Brent and his team are extremely privileged to have the support, moral leadership and vast experience that Arnie brings!
